Ways to Give
Building the Future Today
The College of Engineering and Computer Science thanks our friends, family, and alumni for their generous support.
Alumni and friends like you understand first-hand how committed the College of Engineering and Computer Science (CECS) is to empowering its students to realize their fullest potential. Your past support and generosity have enabled us to offer transformative learning experiences that empower our graduates, providing them with the tools to excel in serving the needs of their employers and society.
Your continued support will allow us to further our accomplishments by incorporating the fast-growing technological and computational advances to prepare the next generation of engineers and computer scientists.
Donors considering a planned gift should contact Kelly Cronin, Director of Development.
Powering the Future: ELB Solar Panels Shine Thanks to Alumni Generosity
The ELB Solar Panels—the very first large scale renewable energy initiative on the UM-Dearborn campus was made possible through the generous support of UM-Dearborn alumnus Mark Ritz and his wife, Lee Gorman, a U-M alum. The solar panels will not only generate clean energy for our campus, but will also serve as a valuable resource for research, instruction, and hands-on learning opportunities.
Your support to CECS is more important than ever. Our students receive an excellent education; they live here and care deeply about our region. By investing in our college, you contribute to a sustainable, prosperous future for our students and communities near and far.
Receiving the scholarship, to me, it means that, instead of spending time taking on additional jobs and taking on work to try to make ends meet for each semester, I have the space to take on the opportunities that I'm passionate about and are related to my ultimate career goals
